Upon waking, I slice raw ginger and add some fresh peppermint leaves to a big pot of hot water and sip on that throughout the entire day. It’s so warming and delicious for your health.
PEPPERMINT
Peppermint is all around amazing. Since it’s anti-microbial and anti-septic in nature, it’s great for acne and oily skin. It also stimulates circulation and soothes skin tissues so very beneficial for sensitive skin types. add the essential oil to a mask or steam your face with the tea. Effective for upper respiratory issues such as sinus and colds.
THYME
Anti-fungal, anti-bacterial is excellent for upper respiratory issues and to heal a sore throat. Promotes mental clarity and focus. Uplifting for the mind. Add as an herb in your food, or drink it as a tea. It’s potent so don’t steep more than 5-7 min.
